The Trees and Views Committee may, at its discretion, consider agenda items out of the order in which they are listed. The public may comment on any item on the agenda that has not previously been subject to public comment. To give everyone an opportunity to be heard and to ensure the presentation of different points of view, the Committee requests that members of the audience who speak: 1) Fill out a Speaker Card and submit it to staff; 2) Always address the Chair; 3) State his or her name and address; and 4) State views succinctly. The Committee requests that applicants, Tree Owners, and Claimants limit presentations to 15 minutes and that neighbors and other interested limit presentations to 3 minutes.

DESCRIPTION: A view claim regarding the obstruction of views from the Claimant’s property at 509 Litho Street (APN 064-211-38) by a tree located on the Tree Owner’s property at 93 Girard Street (APN 064-211-24). The Claimant seeks an advisory decision regarding the restoration of water views from the property at 509 Litho Street.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve draft resolution regarding advisory decision supporting restoration of views.

2. HICKS TREE / 118 CENTRAL AVENUE (TRP 11-222)

DESCRIPTION: Tree Removal Permit to allow the removal of one Coast Live Oak located on rear yard of the property located at 77 Harrison Avenue (APN 065-123-10).

3. SUDDEN OAK DEATH INFORMATION WORKSHOP, PRESENTED BY JANICE ALEXANDER

UC Cooperative Extension of Marin County’s Outreach Coordinator, Janice Alexander, will make a presentation to educate and inform the Community on the Sudden Oak Death Disease and what we can do to save our Oak trees
