The Trees and Views Committee may, at its discretion, consider agenda items out of the order in which they are listed. The public may comment on any item on the agenda that has not previously been subject to public comment. To give everyone an opportunity to be heard and to ensure the presentation of different points of view, the Committee requests that members of the audience who speak: 1) Fill out a Speaker Card and submit it to staff; 2) Always address the Chair; 3) State his or her name and address; and 4) State views succinctly. The Committee requests that applicants, Tree Owners, and Claimants limit presentations to 15 minutes and that neighbors and other interested limit presentations to 3 minutes.

DESCRIPTION: Tree Removal Permit to allow the removal of one diseased Coast Live Oak Tree located near in the rear of the site at 207 West Street (APN 065-231-19).
RECOMMENDATION: Approve, subject to conditions

2. PRIORITIZED PROJECT LIST - FY 2013-14
DESCRIPTION: Suggestions for FY 2013-14 Prioritized Project List
RECOMMENDATION: Review, revise, and approve the priority list to accompany the Priority Calendar request

NEW BUSINESS
3. PROOF OF REPLACEMENT TREE PLANTING
DESCRIPTION: Discussion of a requirement for the documentation that replacement trees were planted to be submitted to the City.
RECOMMENDATION: Provide direction to staff regarding a policy for documenting replacement trees

4. TREE TIP OF THE MONTH
DESCRIPTION: Discussion of a “Tree Tip of the Month” to be published in the Sausalito Currents detailing tree maintenance that should be performed during that time of the year
RECOMMENDATION: Discuss merits of program and make Trees and Views Committee Member assignments as appropriate

5. COMMUNICATING AND ENFORCEMENT OF REGULATIONS
DESCRIPTION: Discussion on communicating and enforcement of the codes (lead by Committee Member Rosenstein)
RECOMMENDATION: Provide direction to staff as appropriate
