Lateral/Academy Graduates/Academy Students (Must be a California POST Academy)

$5635-$6850 Monthly base pay plus additional pay incentives: tuition reimbursement, uniform allowance, shift differential, gym membership, holiday pay, longevity pay, and education/POST certificate pay incentives. PERS 3% @ 55. Full cafeteria plan health benefits. Patrol and detectives work a 3/12 schedule.

Sausalito is a vibrant and unique community hosting many special events. The city is located at the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge off Hwy 101. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERGO A STANDARD POLICE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION INCLUDING FINGERPRINTING, POLYGRAPH, PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION, AND PHYSICAL EXAM WITH DRUG SCREENING.

Minimum Training Requirement: Academy graduates level I or II certificates only. This is a volunteer status position with the same duties and requirements as stated above for full-time Police Officers. Continuous filing.
