Location: Sausalito Library

Sausalito resident Jennifer Berry is a biologist who specializes in design for wildlife. Her focus has been on reconnecting migration routes, restoring streams, and preserving important wildlife habitats for redevelopment projects around the state. Jennifer has always held a passion for tracking urban carnivores, so it was a great surprise to discover upon moving to Nevada Valley that this neighborhood has its own resident family of coyotes. Even more amazing was that she’d one day be given the opportunity to work on a project to help them. In her presentation, Jennifer will share images, videos, and sound recordings to tell the story of the Sausalito coyotes and her role as their resident biologist, with a focus on how we can learn to live in peaceful coexistence with these beautiful animals.
