Community Survey shows Residents Highly Supportive of Overall Direction of City and Local Services
The results of a Community Survey were recently released at a City Council meeting.  Residents believe Sausalito is headed in the right direction and approve of the City’s management of the budget and local services, according to this recent community survey by the independent polling firm of FM3 Research. The survey was commissioned as part of the City’s budget process to assess community views on a variety of service needs and ensure services and service levels reflect citizens’ priorities.

The survey results indicate that the community is highly supportive of the overall direction of the City, has confidence in the City’s fiscal management, and approves of the job being done by the City in delivering essential services. The community identified a range of services as highly important, including the following priorities:
      • Repairing and maintaining 80-year-old storm drains to prevent pollutants, garbage, and sediment from
        entering the Bay
      • Maintaining the long-term financial viability of the City
      • Fixing potholes
      • Maintaining and repairing neighborhood streets
      • Fixing broken and potentially unsafe sidewalks

We thank all of the residents who participated in the community survey!
