Humming Room
The Humming Room by Ellen Potter
Monday, February 13, 3:45-4:45pm
Edgewater Room

This month we’re reading The Humming Room by Ellen Potter.

Twelve-year-old orphan Roo Fanshaw is sent to live with an uncle she never knew in a largely uninhabited mansion on Cough Rock Island and discovers a wild river boy, an invalid cousin, and the mysteries of a hidden garden. Inspired by The Secret Garden by Frances Burnett!

The Library provides a free copy of the book for anyone interested in attending the book club. For more information or a copy of the book, please contact Erin Wilson at or (415) 289-4121, or just come by the Library!
